When using this charger to recharge my Droid Eris’s battery, it causes the touch screen to freak out. The phone constantly vibrated and the device acted like it was receiving a hundred different inputs simultaneously through the front screen. This was only avoidable by removing the battery completely, just disconnecting the charger was not enough. I am guessing the cheap charger overvoltaged the charging circuit and caused the sensing screen to go haywire. Could potentially even damage your phone, don’t use!

The motorola Krazer has the same input as the droid eris… Eris had the stupidest design ever for a charger so these cords will continue to break if you get the one with the removable usb cord. Get one for the krazer, luckily I had that phone so I didn’t have to buy another new one!

We purchased three of these chargers to have as spares around the house for our new HTC Droid Eris phones, since the phones can eat through battery life pretty quickly. They will charge the phones, but if we try to use the phone when it’s charging it starts vibrating non-stop, it won’t turn off, and we have to take the back cover off and remove the battery to get it to stop. Maybe it works better with other phones, but I wouldn’t recommend this one if you have the Droid Eris phone. We have two of them (phones) and the charger has done the same thing with both of them so it has to be the charger and not the phone.
