Really people saying “no front camera”…blah blah blah how many times u will actually use it. Had iPhone 4 before droid x2 and I not once used it. It’s just overrated.
I juss got the droidx2 dope buddy dope loud as shit+1 n the camera is 8pixs its lagit enough but besides a kickstand what more could ya want?
Besides, what smartphone has a dual core processor? Its a nice looking phone with its super thin sized look (besides the bump for the camera). But i understand what you are saying. But yes, it should be LTE.
Well, i do agree that the is bogged down to 3g, BUT, who would stay on verizon anyways? They are capping more on the data service and price increase. Cricket is 3g. Yes, the LTE is much faster than 3g…but really, is it really necessary? Some areas in the states are probably bogged down or just crappy service area. Besides, im sure most people use wifi over verizon service when it comes to web browsing. Im not bothered by it. I love the Droid X2. Getting it next week to cricket.
The only real point I agree with is the no front facing cam. 4g isn’t available everywhere and VZW has pretty good 3g speeds. As for the camera. Just because its not 1080 doesn’t mean it fails(the DROID 3 has a 1080 camera and the pics look washed out almost) when compared to the x2
The bionic also wont have a Tegra 2 but a ti omap. So there goes all your Tegra specific games.
All these 3g phones are being killed off, yet they are still making them. Sounds pretty alive to me

I think HTC is much better than Motorola. You should get the HTC Thunderbolt and just ditch Droid…
unless you live in LA, San-Fran, NYC, Chicago, downtown Austin or downtown Dallas, you pretty much don’t get 4G. I think they have 2 towers in Dallas with 4G within a couple miles.
i’ve had the droid x2 for not even a month and im taking it back for the iphone now. it turns off randomly and freezes when i text and you have to turn it off to make it work. it sucks and if you wanna take pictures…don’t get this, it’s incredibly hard to take self portraits.
I know I would NEVER use the front facing camera so thats no big deal to me. I wouldn’t want to pay 4g data rates and the 3g on this phone seems to be faster than most other verizon 3g phones. The lack of a camera button is bad but tapping the screen to take a picture definitely isnt a dealbreaker. In the end, having a tegra 2 far outweighs the lack of those features for me and I’ve been happy with the phone.

I do hate the auto text correct. I now have a droid x 2. Not know have a droid x 2 among other things. What can I say talk to text not 100 percent yet.
I had the Droid x I know have the droid x 2 The biggest differences Mirroring capabilities with the HDMI With 3g Only being present in larger cities It’ll be sometime before it gets to my city Front facing cameras were only b wells for 4 g phone So it’s not too important with this 3g phone It just takes a little faster speed For video conferencing Great for gaming specially mirror mode The droid x did not do at all.
The Droid X2 was never intended to be the best phone on Verizon. It was just supposed to be an upgrade from the Droid X and for those who preferred the X to the Droid 2 Global/iPhone 4. The phones that are supposed to be the best are the HTC Thunderbolt, Droid Charge, Droid 3 and the LG Revolution.
Samsung galaxy S2, aka Samsung function (verizon release name)! Have the D3 but I want something better. As far as I know the bionic is the same internals as the D3 plus 4g and a bigger screen(same screen as DX2). Performance will be similar but less battery life due to the lte radio. I have till tomorrow to send my D3 back but definitely not looking at the extremely over hyped Bionic. 7+ months to wait on a piece technology that has lower specs than a phone that came out in may is ridiculous..

I have the droid x2 and works fine. I don’t need the front facing camera and the dude I spoke to at verizon told me the 4g lte phones have no battery life. I was waiting for the bionic but who knows when that is coming out. My only problem I have is with email interface and control over my email account from the phone. my last phone was a blackberry storm and that is the only good thing with blackberry.
What do u think about the droid charge
got the droid x2 about a week ago, just exchanged it for the droid 3 today. The x2 is not a bad phone but it is really no different than the droid x which i had b4 this. The droid 3 so far i think is awesome!! only thing is its not 4g but where i live i cant get 4g anyways and it wont be coming for another year.
I will agree I think its a fail I have the DROID x and its a awesome phone but the key features he named should’ve been on there but if I had to pick a Verizon 4g phone it would be the lg revolution its a beast maybe if they make a x3 it will be the best
